Salesforce May Dodge Payment in Retailer’s Data Breach Suit
Hanna Andersson LLC and cloud provider Salesforce.com Inc. have reached a proposed settlement with plaintiffs in a class action stemming from a 2019 data breach. The children’s retailer agreed to pay $400,000, while Salesforce won’t have to pay to settle claims that the two companies violated the California Consumer Privacy Act and the state’s unfair competition law.
