Salesforce Makes AI Pervasive With Einstein 1 Platform At Dreamforce

I’ve been on the road for the past five weeks attending technology conferences. The week of September 11, I was in San Francisco for Salesforce’sCRM +0.1% annual Dreamforce conference. The multiday event is always informative, not only about Salesforce itself but also about the big issues at play for its partner companies and in the tech world at large. Unsurprisingly, this year’s edition put major emphasis on data, AI and trust—all of which I’ll dig into below. AI has been the primary staple food for technology companies since November, when OpenAI and ChatGPT arrived on the scene. I believe this is a trend, not a fad, and will be up there with the web, e-commerce, mobile-local-social and the cloud in terms of enterprise impact.
